Rain screen cladding on Dartmoor

Built and detailed by Robin Milne and Yancy Hilton from locally sourced European larch, custom built bracketing and stainless steel reveals and sills.

The extreme weather of Dartmoor led to major ingresses of water through the West facing wall. The Residents  tried everything to stop this and eventually settled on a physical barrier with airspace behind.

The project was a success in stopping any ingress and also has quite a striking appearance. Images of Completion to follow.
